Team of the Week: 

Our team is an established them with 10 + years. We are huge on Outreach and do tons of stuff in our community and surrounding areas. This year was our 5th year Planning/Designing/Operating a Haunted Museum in our small town. In the 2 days we were open we had almost 500 people come through the doors and we raised just under $1000 from donations. 

We went to the European Premier Event in Eindhoven, the Netherlands in July 2025 and competed amongst 95 teams from around 38 different countries. It was truly an amazing experience.  We were also able to advance to World's in 2020 but Covid canceled our trip. 

We love to talk about our engineering design process and how many times we iterate different mechanisms to get them the exact way we want them. 

We hope to be able to share some of our experience with veteran and rookie teams alike!

Hyperion Bots is a team that truly enjoys what we do. We work hard, we learn fast and we support each other every step of the way. What makes us stand out is the energy we bring to every event and the way we always try to lift the whole community, not just ourselves.

We are also proud to be the FIRST #FIRSTLikeAGirl Ambassador Team for South Africa. This is something we take to heart and we try to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged and confident to take part in STEM. We were also one of the only teams last season to move onto CAD designs, making a custom Drive train and showing other teams it at numerous scrimmages, this has now influenced many teams to learn CAD and the endless possibilities with it. 

Our Successes so far:

1. Built an extremely reliable and consistent robot for this season.

4. Strengthened our engineering notebook and portfolio structure for awards.

5. Supported multiple local FTC teams with debugging, calibration and robot setup.

6. Became the FIRST #FIRSTLikeAGirl Ambassador Team for South Africa and expanded our outreach focus throughout the entirety of South Africa.

7. Hosted and assisted at scrimmages, helping newer teams understand gameplay and event flow.

8. Grew our team brand and community presence through social media and school outreach.

9. We have organized 2 of the best FIRST Professional trainers to come down to South Africa in March and April to teach our coaches absolutely everything they need to know to coach successful FLL and FTC teams.

What we want other teams to know is simple. We are here for you. Whether you need help, advice, collaboration or just someone cheering you on, you can come to us. Being part of the rainbow nation means coming together and growing together. This truly embodies our mission of South African robotics grows stronger when we grow together.

We are Medusa Robotics #12565: a dedicated, all-girls, student-led team based in Missouri. Having been active for 5 years, we have truly made a name for ourselves. Just this season, we have executed several outreach events, such as running a feminine hygiene drive, creating STEM mobile labs for middle school students, and mentoring other FTC teams. We consistently connect with the community and larger industries for sponsorship, and have sponsors from big companies such as Lowes, Boeing, and the Josh Seidel Memorial Foundation. We have even been featured in the St. Louis Review! Not to mention, we’ve been to state for the last few years and have won the Motivate, Connect, Think, and Inspire Awards! We have recently worked with LOAD to develop a game overview as well. We are so honored to be a LOAD Team of the Week and look forward to connecting with them and other teams in the future!

Theseus Robotics is a community team based in Brisbane, Australia. All our members come from various areas of Brisbane as we attend different schools. For the Decode Season, we achieved Australia’s first 12 artifact auto. For outreach, we showcase and present our robot and FTC to primary school students at public libraries.

Hi! We are FTC Team #14340 Darkbots, based in Ipswich, QLD, Australia. As a new team, we are constantly brainstorming, questioning, and learning something new. We are working with other 20+ FTC teams with online video calls to help learn, and develop as a team. Our goal this year is to win Inspire 1 or Winning Alliance Captain at our regionals, and qualify for the Australian National Championship in December. Our ultimate goal however is qualifying for WORLDS.

Our team focuses on problem-solving, innovation, and learning from mistakes (which is where our name comes from)! We love designing creative mechanisms and improving through every iteration. Hi, we are Wilsobotics from London, UK. Our rookie season was Into the Deep and we reached the UK nationals finals, which we are quite proud of, as our robot couldn't score any points in the January scrimmage. We became well known in the uk FTC community for giving out mini robot keyrings. Also, we are proficient in breaking servos, with a total of 7 rendered broken so far.

Next year, we are aiming to advance our team further (hopefully to the European premier event) and make a more competitive robot, and we would also like to meet other teams and learn from them.

We are a team of almost all rookies. There is one senior and nine juniors (our school only is juniors and seniors). Our senior did outreach all of last year and knows barely anything about the robot itself. He is learning with us and we all have to start from the bottom together. I want them to know that we want to be engaged with the community. We want to do interviews with other teams and get to know them more. We want people to know us and we want to know others.

We are going into our second-year as a FTC team that in our rookie year got 4th place in Oregon States, winning alliance captain in Spark. We have no subteams so everyone on our team can pitch in on ideas about code and build.

We are an all girl, community robotics team (grades 7 - 12) from Kalispell, MT.  We have been to Worlds four of our last nine seasons. We believe that growth and teamwork are infinitely more important than winning - but Houston IS quite an experience!  Our mission is to encourage and inspire all children, especially girls, to pursue STEM activities.  Our strength is being an all around, balanced team - we have been recognized for the Inspire Award five times.  Currently, our focus is to take what we've learned over the years and bring real life solutions to our community, through adaptive 3D printed gadgets for seniors, retrofitting 6 volt cars for low mobility kids and building pet wheelchairs.  We are excited for this year!

We are Triple Six, UK-666, 26587. We are based in Cambridgeshire, UK and we are starting our second season in DECODE. We came finalist alliance at our qualifying tournament, and won the Connect Award there too. At the UK nationals, we came 2nd place in the qualifiers. Our team is made out of nine people aged 12-15 years old, and we are a team that loves innovating, collaborating and fascinating!

We are one of the two teams from the city of Târgoviște. In our two years of activity, we have won international competitions in Greece, Italy, and the USA!

Our goal is to get as many children as possible involved in robotics and to support our local community. That's why we frequently give presentations in schools, both in our city and in more disadvantaged areas.

We are a rookie team looking to step up our game next year. Last year, we managed to start our program and build our robot in just two months (we started in January) and still win second place in the think award at our Leagues championship. I believe our team stands out in the passion that formed around robotics as soon as it was introduced to the community. Our school didn't give us a dime to fundraise toward our team, but members went out and raised $2500 in just two weeks so we could compete. This year, we're already looking into research opportunities and fundraising. Members are all extremely excited for next year and local team 9848 Gearview (worlds Inspire Award winners) have said they cannot believe the quick progress we've had and think that we are a team to watch out for in the future. Every member participates in the team, and the passion behind it is obvious. I hope to share that with the community as we work on starting a team at my old middle school and mentoring a team from Nigeria. All in all, our FTC team has already created the opportunity for many in the community to explore a passion in robotics and it is only expanding as the program continues.

One of the things that really makes our team stand out is the passion for not only robotics. We like mixing robotics with fun and glitter. At every competition, we try making our surroundings a fun place because we are an extremely friendly team. We are CNapSys a FTC team from Romania and what makes our team stand out is the connection and the strong bonds that unite our group. We are very focused on maintaining a healthy environment, that supports effective collaboration. We strive to foster innovation, and it has paid off through the season. We have 3 of the top 10 teleop solo sample records, and we're going to MTI. We were in the Edison Division Finalist Alliance at Worlds. 

We've presented at local software conferences, worked with legislation, and are developers of Pedro Pathing. This means we have directly impacted the (estimated) 500 teams that use Pedro.

We are team 24457 Typhoon Stormbots from Ajax Ontario. We are a 2 time Finalist Alliance Captain at our qualifier events in Ontario and exceeded our expectations for our provincial meet. Ontario is a very competitive province so we are very proud of our results. We mentor 6 different FTC teams and sponsor 2 FLL teams. 

One of our most proud achievements was gaining our nickname THE GODS OF DIY. This is due to the amount of reused parts we have on our robot. A lot of the lifts and structural pieces are reused in wacky ways that are actually very efficient. We also once 3D printed over 30 spools. Each with their own designs and we mix and matched them to make one massive unbreakable spool. 

We are also in the process of designing and making our own competitor to Road Runner. We call it Melvin Pathing and it is still in development. It will be open sourced if we find that it is able to be a successor to either one of them.

Our team has won the inspire award third place at the Israeli Championship in one of the most competitive regions. We're super proud of ourselves and we are the kings (and queen) of getting back from failure. Again, and again, and again and again.

We are a family and community team from Lansdale Pennsylvania that is student run. Our team is constantly learning and improving in FIRST and works closely with many other FTC teams in the community. We made the Pennsylvania State competition the last two years being on the winning alliance as well as winning the connect award. Our goal in the 2025-2026 season is to make it to the World stage.

We had a strong season start this year and gained a lot of attention, but we were still considered underdogs at Worlds. Luckily, we teamed up with our best friends Green Machines in playoffs. With them we made it all the way to Finalist Alliance in Ochoa. I think together we proved that an alliance with the right strategy and teamwork can become "more than the sum of their parts."
